Hi folks! I don’t know how this happened, and it seems totally illogical given the time of year, but somehow there are more solo and group exhibitions opening this week that include work by friends of mine than any other week so far this year (and therefore that I am obligated to go to the openings of). In that spirit, the list of exhibition picks for the week is a bit heftier than usual — please do say hi to me if you see me frantically running around!
A quick housekeeping note, I created a Google form that you can use to submit events that you’d like listed in upcoming newsletters. I usually draft these newsletters on Monday night and schedule them to go out on Tuesday so please submit before Tuesday if your event is taking place during the current week. Also please note that submitting does not guarantee that I will include your event — I try to keep fairly focused on art and art adjacent events that are free or low cost. I will link this in all future newsletters at the bottom so no need to bookmark it. (You can also always email or message me with event info — but the Google form is probably easier on everyone).
If you find my work useful and you’d like to support it, consider becoming a paid subscriber — sliding scale subscription links are available here:
$5/month (or $50/year)
$4/month (or $40/year)
$3/month (or $30/year)
$2/month (or $20/year)
