NYC Spring 2025 Art Preview

Hi folks, I’m really excited to bring you a Spring Art Preview list and map of more than 200 gallery exhibitions opening between April 23rd and May 10th. Spring is one of the peak art seasons of the year, and I’m excited for some of these major shows coming up even at a time of market weirdness. I’ll keep doing my weekly posts as well, but thought this might be useful for the people like me who like to get a jump on planning or are coming in from out of town for the fairs.

I will keep updating this list as more things are announced so please keep checking back! My picks of shows that I’m most looking forward to seeing and “recommend” without having yet seen them are in bold. I’ve included all currently announced exhibitions so if you’ve told me about your show, but it’s not on the gallery’s website / Instagram / hasn’t been announced through email, it’s not on here. I’ve tried my very hardest to be comprehensive and accurate but if anything is incorrect or I’ve missed something, please let me know. I note this is in my weekly posts, but opening dates are subject to change so please check links and gallery websites before heading out anywhere.

All exhibition openings are 6pm - 8pm unless otherwise noted!!

I did the map a bit differently than I do my weekly maps since there are SO many data points. I had to split it between two maps since apparently 10 layers per maps is the limit (a new discovery, lol). As usual, each night is color coded, but here each night is a layer so you can turn them on or off, and I’ve starred my picks.
